How can I use the @ sign in my username?

Add the following line to your user.js:
user_pref("mail.allow_at_sign_in_user_name", true);

Or you can enter about:config in the location bar.
Add the Boolean preference mail.allow_at_sign_in_user_name.
Set the value to true.
