How do I make Mozilla display the "alt" attribute for images as a tooltip?

According to W3C, the alt attribute is, "For user agents that cannot display images, forms, or applets, this attribute specifies alternate text."

If you're a web developer looking for alt text to be displayed as a tooltip on images, stop looking. That's what the title attribute is for.

If you're a user that would like alt text to show as a tooltip, you can install the Popup ALT Attributes extension.
